Best Dropshipping Apps for Shopify in 2026, by Supplier

The best dropshipping app for a Shopify store depends on where you want your suppliers to be. Shopify’s own recommended list starts with Shopify Collective, free on all plans and recommended for US merchants, then DropCommerce, Dropship: EU & US Dropshipping and Syncee for dropshipping, and Gelato and Printful for print on demand. Other apps, such as Spocket, AutoDS and Printify, cover other networks. Compare them by supplier location, by what the price grows with, and by ratings with the number of reviews behind them.
Shopify’s list and warnings come from its Help Center page on recommended dropshipping and print-on-demand apps, read on October 23, 2026. App prices and ratings come from each App Store listing, read on October 31, 2026. We have no affiliate relationship with any of these apps.
Shopify’s recommended apps
Shopify describes these as apps that meet its quality standards, and says the list isn’t exhaustive:
- Shopify Collective: import products from other Shopify brands, with details, prices and inventory synced in real time; suppliers fulfill, payments are processed when they ship, and returns are automated. Recommended for merchants in the United States, free with all plans subject to eligibility.
- Dropcommerce: US Dropshipping: suppliers in North America.
- Dropship: EU & US Dropshipping: suppliers in the United States and Europe.
- Syncee: a dropshipping app and wholesale marketplace with vetted suppliers in the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia and elsewhere.
- Gelato and Printful for print on demand, Gelato producing locally, near customers.
Apps compared
| App | Supplier network | Free plan | Paid plans | Price grows with | Rating (reviews) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shopify Collective | Other Shopify brands, US | Free on all plans | None | Nothing | Shopify’s own channel |
| DropCommerce | US and Canada | 25 products | $29, $55 or $95 a month | Products you can import | 4.7 (129) |
| Syncee | US, CA, EU, UK, Brazil and more | 25 products | $39.99, $59.99 or $99.99 a month | Products you can import | 4.1 (553) |
| Spocket | US, EU, Canada, Australia, Brazil and more | Yes, with 24/7 chat support | $39.99, $59.99 or $99.99 a month | Unique products (250 on Pro, 10,000 on Empire) | 3.6 (629) |
| AutoDS | 1,000+ suppliers in 25 countries, including China | 3-day trial | $26.90, $39.90 or $66.90 a month | Products (200, 500 or 1,000) | 4.6 (1,347) |
| Printify | Print on demand | Free to install; costs billed per sale | Premium $39 a month | Discount on products, stores | 4.7 (4,357) |
All figures are from the listings on October 31, 2026. Print on demand is represented by Printify only; Shopify’s picks for it, Gelato and Printful, are covered in the FAQ. Several listings also mention yearly prices and separate charges billed outside the Shopify invoice, so read the app’s own pricing page before you install.
The import limit is the real pricing unit for several of these apps: DropCommerce and Syncee both give 25 products free and raise the import limit on higher plans (DropCommerce from its $55 Growth plan), so a catalog of 300 products sits on a much higher plan than one of 30. Ratings also differ a lot: Spocket’s 3.6 across 629 reviews sits next to Printify’s 4.7 across more than 4,000. Read the most recent one-star reviews of any app before choosing.
How to choose
Shopify’s page warns against four things: apps that rank high on installs but don’t prioritize shipping speed or product quality, apps that claim to offer print on demand without fulfilling reliably or with unclear sourcing, outdated testimonials and broken guide links, and fake reviews.
Our checks before committing to one:
- Supplier location against your customers. In our view a US store selling to US customers is best served by US suppliers; Collective and DropCommerce are built for that. Shipping from a distant supplier means longer delivery times you have to publish.
- The import limit against your catalog plan. Count the products you want in the first three months and pick the plan that covers them.
- Test orders before listing. Order from the app’s suppliers to your own address and time processing and delivery; how to vet a dropshipping supplier lists what to record.
- What syncs. Check that prices, stock and tracking numbers sync automatically, so you’re not updating orders by hand.
If your products are your own designs, the choice is between print-on-demand apps; dropshipping vs print on demand compares the two models. If no app covers your niche, supplier directories are the next step, and the automation side of running orders through these apps is in dropshipping automation. The shipping and returns hub has the rest.
